Hoping to imbue various expressions of love and hope for peacein the worldthrough constructing“the Great Pagodas for Peace,” we are holding this contest foressays and artwork. We look forward to the enthusiastic participation of many peace-loving children.

a.       Love, Peace, Happiness, and Compassion

b.      A Mind of Understanding, Forgiveness, Thoughtfulness, and Kind-heartedness

c.       Love for Nature; Love for Earth

d.      World Peace

·         Categories: Essays and artwork

·         Eligibility:Young citizens (ages 5-13, in kindergarten and elementary schools) across the world who wish to participate in the promotion of world peace and love for Earth, regardless of nationality.

·         Submission Period: Wednesday, June 1^st ~ Wednesday, August 31^st, 2022

·         Results: The results will be announced on Friday, September 16^rd, 2022 at 12 noonon the homepage (www.peacep.net).

·         Exhibition:Special Exhibition on the Great Pagodas of World Peace Metaverse Platform for one year (to share with the world audience)

·         Detail Categories

·         Awardswill be presented by the superintendents of education, the President of the Federation of Arts and Culture Organization of Korea, and other officials. Special awards and Honorable Mentions will be presented as well. (Subject to change)

a.       One Grand Prize Winner (award of 1,000,000 KRW)

b.      Three First Prize Winners (award of 300,000 KRW)

c.       Five Award of Excellence Winners (award of 100,000 KRW)

d.      Honorable Mentions (award of a trophy and artwork displayed at the exhibition)

·         Submission Methods

a)      Essay: Submissions must be written in English,one copy in MS Office Word format(when sent by email) and one printed on A4 paper (when sent by post).

b)      Artwork: Submissions must be in high quality JPG format(when sent by email) as well as on A2 or A3 paper (when sent by post).
